The Continent of Africa Has New Leadership

“The quest for transformative visionary leadership in the Kenyan
context is resident in revolutionary young people; for
it is within these ranks that cataclysmic paradigm and
executive mind shifts can issue”...Paddy Onyango - 4Cs Trust Director

Broadly, the programme is intended to prepare potential political leaders who can effectively play their leadership roles as:
• Policy-makers
• Decision-makers
• Communicators
• Facilitators
• Enablers
• Negotiators
• Resource mobilisers
• Overseers
• Power brokers
• Institution builders
• Leaders
• Lobbyists
The overarching aim of PLDP is to function as a vessel through which Kenyawill, in the long run, be transformed into a truly democratic value-orientated and efficient political entity guided by leaders who have appropriate knowledge, attitude, values and skills; and to provide leadership catchments and incubatorswhere potential young women and men are infused with positive leadershipvalues and skills on the basis of an outcome-based curriculum content.
