Although gender is treated as a study unit in Area A (Unit 3), all the study units in this course are expected to address the relevant gender concerns. The treatment of Gender as a study unit in Area A should provide the trainees with the necessary tools and concepts for addressing gender concerns wherever/whenever they arise.
